Finally Done

Second semester is finally coming to an end and I couldn’t be happier. I am roughly five months away from being fully done with everything that has to do with this building. With second semester ending we are closing everything up with my classes and beginning to review for the midterms next week. Although none of my classes were that bad it’s still great that they are over and my daily routine will be switching up instead of sitting in the classes I have now day in and day out. Also with this semester ending most likely my blog will be ending with it. I enjoyed doing it even though the ideas for the stories were hard for me to think of. This is why they are so random and are not on just one single topic. With out this blog affecting a grade I needed to graduate I will surely lose interest in it completely.

AVATAR

Avatar is a new 3-D movie that I only heard good things about. So I decided to go check it out. After watching the movie it was not any where as good as the people I was with made it seem. The 3-D was a cool addition to the typical movie theater experience but it gets old quick and it still needs to be a good movie despite how cool it may look. The movie was a typical action movie where the main character falls in love with a girl. But they focused more on the love part of the story then the action aspect of it. This caused me to lose interest real quick. I went to see 3-D explosions not two blue aliens hug under some tree. Then in the first fight scene the avatars get absolutely demolished and the bows and arrows they use are no match for the ships attacking them. After that fight scene it goes back into how the human they sent in as the avatar wants to help the avatars and betray the earth. Now with this guy raising all of the avatars' spirits and so on they all decide to continue to fight and he will be the one to lead it. Then it started to get real stupid real quick. They go into another battle with the ships and the bow and arrows they used before can now shoot through the window of the ships were they would just bounce off in the fight seen before that. I sat till the end of the movie which was three long hours with some gross 3-D glasses on my face that probably a hundred people used before me. If you like movies that look fake the whole time then you will probably enjoy this one but even with all the hype I do not recommend seeing it.
